Product Engineering
About the role
We are looking for a product-minded software engineer to shape interfaces for on- and off-ramping, payment rails, and financial services delivered through licensed and regulated partners. You will work across Next.js web experiences and Flutter mobile applications, turning complex financial states into clear, secure, and responsive journeys.
This role goes beyond assembling screens. You will help define the design system, typed API boundaries, state architecture, quality strategy, and performance budgets that let web and mobile evolve as one coherent product.
We work AI-first without compromising product judgment. You should know how to give an AI assistant the right repository and design context, use it to explore impact and test edge cases, and keep accessibility, security, visual quality, and human review in the release loop.
What you will do
- Build and maintain customer-facing experiences with Next.js, React, TypeScript, Flutter, and Dart.
- Translate payment, identity, and account states into calm, understandable user journeys across web and mobile.
- Evolve reusable design-system components, tokens, interaction patterns, and accessibility standards across both platforms.
- Define typed API integrations and resilient state flows for loading, retries, optimistic updates, session expiry, and partial failure.
- Protect sensitive fintech interactions with careful validation, secure storage choices, privacy-aware analytics, and clear confirmation states.
- Improve startup time, rendering performance, bundle size, responsiveness, crash visibility, and production telemetry.
- Build unit, component, integration, and end-to-end coverage for high-value customer journeys.
- Use AI-assisted discovery, implementation, testing, and review with traceable context, explicit acceptance criteria, secret safety, and human quality gates.
What you bring
- 3+ years of software experience for mid-level or 5+ years for senior, supported by polished products shipped to real users.
- Production expertise in Next.js, React, and TypeScript, with practical Flutter and Dart experience on at least one released mobile product.
- Strong command of component architecture, state management, typed APIs, design systems, accessibility, and cross-platform performance.
- Product judgment for secure financial experiences, resilient edge cases, privacy-aware telemetry, and well-tested critical journeys.
- An AI-first workflow that accelerates discovery and delivery while preserving ownership, visual quality, security, and rigorous review.
- Mid-level engineers deliver polished features independently; senior engineers shape architecture, raise quality standards, mentor engineers, and coordinate cross-platform releases.
Strong additions
- Experience building payment, wallet, banking, identity, or other high-trust product experiences.
- Experience sharing API models, design tokens, or product behavior across web and mobile platforms.
- A portfolio that explains the constraints and trade-offs behind polished interface work.
